Luddington - Hisler

Hisler S. Luddington, aged fifty-five years, died late Friday afternoon of neuralgis of the stomach at his residence on south Grant avenue. The funeral took place on Monday at 2:30 o'clock. Mr. Luddington was a soldier during the war, serviving in Company B, 24th Illinois Infantry. – thanks to Kim H

Friday evening last Heisler S. Luddington, died at his home on the Greencastle road, from neuralgia of the stomach. Mr. Luddington was 55 years of age, and was a survivor of the civil war, having served with Company B, 24th Illinois Infantry. He was hard working quiet man. He had a large family of children. The funeral took place Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Wallace Tharp. Interment at Odd Fellows cemetery.
